 Robin Figueroa, MBA

Robin presently serves as the Executive Director of AVOR. She strives to touch the lives of the hungry, the homeless and the imprisoned holistically and desires to encourage, uplift and strengthen the hope of men, and women who are and were incarcerated, abandoned,  abused and are reentering society through job training, family counseling, social services, rehabilitation and knowing their legal rights. She has recently finished her studies as a Chaplain at the Florida Theological Chaplaincy Academy. She is excited about what the future holds for her and looks forward to leaving a lasting legacy in her church, community and in the lives of the people she comes in contact with. 

 Carlos “Elliam” Figueroa

 Carlos “Elliam” was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. In 1993, he migrated to the United States with his parents and three siblings. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Voorhees College in Denmark, SC where he met the love of his life, Robin Figueroa. Carlos “Elliam” has over (14) years of experience in business management and hospitality. He brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and mentorship to #TeamAVOR. 

 Derrick Rountree

 Derrick Rountree is a graduate of Florida State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He has been working in IT since 1993. He has served as a System Administrator, QA Engineer, and an Enterprise Architect. He brings over 20 years of IT experience to the organization and is one of our computer training facilitators. He is also the author of The Basics of Cloud Computing, Windows 2012 Server Network Security, Federated Identity Primer, Security for Microsoft Windows System Administrator. 

 Joseph Browne, CPA

 Joseph Browne received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the City University of New York, York College. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of public and private audit and accounting experience. He has developed extensive knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles, audit and financial reporting while servicing clients in industries such as healthcare, employee benefit plans, financial services, HUD and non-profits. With specialized knowledge in skilled nursing, community health centers, ERISA and DOL regulations and A-133 regulations he serves the community as a Board Member for the Broward Community & Family Health Centers, Inc. Board of Directors and as a Board Member of the Tiger Transplant Fund. 

Dr. Richard Hasselbach, M.Div., J.D., Ph.D.

 Dr. Richard Hasselbach is an experienced mediator & coach who has worked with families in both New York and Florida. He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court in Family and Circuit Civil Mediation. At f.a.c.e.s. Fort Lauderdale Dr. Hasselbach teaches co-parenting classes to couples with children going through a divorce. In the past, he has taught graduate and undergraduate classes at St. Bonaventure University and Mercy College in New York. Dr. Hasselbach received his Ph.D. from Fordham University and his J.D. from Boston College Law School. He is a member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators. 

 Elisse Howard 

Ellise Howard has been dedicated to helping make South Florida a better place since she moved from Pennsylvania in 2010. Having volunteered with animals, children, and now AVOR she has amassed a number of experiences and skills that compliment A Vision of Redemption’s mission. During college, she took various classes including Psychology, Sociology, Business, Economics, and Marketing. She brings youth, energy, and a detailed eye to every organization she works with.
